90/10 or 70/30 drag srtuts?
For my dad's birthday my mom and i are getting him drag struts for his 91GT. The car only gets driven once a week, and that is to the track and back. Sometimes he takes it to cruise-ins, but its not a daily driver. He just bought the Holley Systemax kit, so we know traction is going to be a problem. Right now it is 100% stock suspension, except for subframe conn. and Mickey Thompson sportsman pro tires. He cuts 1.89-1.90 60's now and runs 13.7's at 98mph with just gears, pulleys, and exhaust. Are the 90/10's streetable at all, and are they street legal?

they are definatly street legal and streetable. I just put in 70/30's and they are pretty loose. Definatly liveable though. Since his car is more of a track car than mine it sounds, you might as well go 90/10, but I have great weight transfer with my 70/30's.

get the 90/10's, no doubt. i have them on my daily and i also ripped off the front sway bar(much better transfer and a 20lb loss) and mine is completely streetable. the nose will jump up alot more and help him out at the track. theres my two cents.

The 90/10's tend to hold the front end up too high for too long on Mustangs unless it is a high horsepower car. The 70/30's will allow the front end to come down and that will cause less wind resistance. Its still riding high as ever. Maybe I should go off-roading... lol... I guess I'm starting to get used to it. I think maybe I need bigger tires.

I'd go with the 90/10's & no front sway bar. I've had that set up for a while now & I drive in the street alot.

I have the 90/10's and I have no problems, I like them and I would recommend the 90/10's also.
