racing stripes, pic inside.....
I am still working out a budget for spring 2001 and I was wondering what you guys/gals think about stripes on a fox body.
Here is the ONLY pic that I have: http://members.mustangworks.com/88cobra/stripes.jpg If you have any pics, or have stripes on your car let me know. I will have them professionally painted on. What type of paint? Since my car is black, I will be using a dark gray for the color. The stripes will be the same thickness as the ones in the picture above. One question, I was wondering if I should go over the wing and not under, or under the wing and not over, or both over and under???? Opinions here would be appreciated! I have an 89gt that is a light grey with blue racing stripes. It definitely draws looks and the grey color never gets dirty. My stripes are slightly thinner than the ones u have pictured and go on top and bottom of the wing and down the hatchback. Hmm... the only color of racing stripes i've ever seen on a black car was red and I didn't really like it too much... I would go over the wing and not under

I have a 89 it's smoke grey with titanium pearl stripes thay are 8"wide with 2"space in the middle i used fine scotchbrited on the whole car masked the stripes sprayed dupont chroma basefor the stripes then sprayed the whole car with 3 coats of dupont 7500 series clear coat. it turned out great! everybody says my car looks mean .I will send you a couple of pics

I used (car was written-off) to have a white mustang w/blue stripes. the stripes were 2" thick and 6" apart.
