TriAxe Is Loud?

Hey i was ordering a Steeda TriAxe for my Bullitt this week and ive been seeing post about it being "Annoying Loud"? Is this true?
If anybody who has the shifter and it is loud let me know cause if it is i will not order it i want something quiet. i cant stand whine and stuff like.

Thanks. Mike

There is "gear whine", but you'll get that with any aftermarket shifter that I know of.
Its the nature of the beast...

I'm used to it now... but you can always turn up the radio http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/wink.gif

Ricer 2: I don't know. It looked kind of like a yellow SN95 Mustang.

Again, all aftermarket shifters are "loud". The Tri-ax isn't too bad, I placed a rubber washer between the handle and shifter body and isolated the whine a bit. You will be amazed at the precise-accurate shifting with the Tri-ax, I had the Pro 5.0 and the B&M...Tri-ax is the winner.
Or, stay stock and miss third gear and bend those forks!
