Steeda Timing Adjuster

Before installing the unit my car ran a 14.6 @ 95. Had the unit installed on my bone stock car with a paper filter and I up the timing to 13 degres. Ran a 14.4 @ 96 , then up the timing some more to 16 and ran a 14.2 @ 97 Not bad for something I paied only $170 bucks.

Do you drive the car on a normal basis at 16deg timing or does that setting only work well at WOT at the track? Did you have any computer problems when intalling the adjuster? Does your car accelerate evenly when on the gas or do you get bogs at certian RPM's? I ask these questions because I am trying to figure out if my mind is playing tricks on me, after installing the adjuster and pulleys the car seems much stronger but every now and then I feel a slight dip in power when accelerating (similiar to the feeling you get when the a/c goes on-only this is happening with it off). My timing is set at 13deg.

Drop your timing down to 12* and see if you have the same problem!
