How much is this going to cost for you in terms of labor? I heard it is a lot? How many hours should it take?

Called my friend at the FORD shop and they said minimum $1500.00 install. The used parts can be had from Mustang Parts Specialties for about 2K or so. The 1500 bucks was a rough estimate at a ford dealer so you may be able to do it yourself or find a shadetree mech to do it reasonable. Someone else who has done this can probably answer this better.

Well from the research I have done it should take about 12-14 hours of labor. I have a 99GT so all my parts will bolt up without any cutting or drilling. The shop I am going to said it would be on a estimate of $900 for labor. I am excited about it!!! I am also getting 2 chamber flow(orig) put on for my b-day! Imagine what the downshift is gonna sound like! Well let me know if you need any info...:D
