Shifter Help???
I am in the process in of purchasing a shifter and I would like some help in the selection. Pro 5.0, Steeda, or B&M? Also when I put a shifter in my 93 5.0, there was more interior noise than stock, does that occur with the new body style?

I'd either stick with Pro 5.0 or Steeda. If you got with the Steeda you may want to look at the UPR shifter as well, it's identical but more reasonably priced. The reason you get more interior noise is because your eliminating the rubber bushings used in the stock shifter. You'll most likely get the sound in your car, personally I can't hear anything over my offroad H and turndowns so it doesn't bother me.

I have the Steeda shifter and I have been very happy w/ it. I drove a friends car w/ the pro 5.0 and I was not impressed. I do have more noise in the car now, but unless you have factory exhaust and are driving w/ your windows up and no radio on, you won't really hear it.
