IS THIS A GOOD DEAL ???

OK, Im Not an actual mustang owner yet, but I will be by next monday...so here are the questions??

1. whats the difference between 97 and 98 mustang GT.
2. Would you buy a 1998 mustang GT ROUSH STAGE 2. Fully loaded with 42k miles, automatic, in beautiful condition. (not supercharged) for 17k$
3. what would you estimate the HP/TORQUE on a GT with these mods: Ram cold air induction, complete pully set and this weird looking ignition that is down by the pullys ??(he said it was an ignition switch thing)??

I'm no expert on the 96-98 so I could be wrong, but I think the 97s and 98s both had 225hp. It's possible that the 97s may have had only 215hp though. As far as your deal for a mint Stage 2 Roush, it's probably a ggod deal. Prices here in the northeast are high so that number actually looks low. I'll assume the car is a hardtop. Does the car have the side exhaust and all the suspension goodies? For $17Gs, I would get a used 99, but I'm biased. Different looks and more power but shitty seats. The mods you mention will, conservatively, get you anywhere from 10-20hp, not sure about torque. Good luck.
