i ran a 9.24 with moderate spin and traction control on i thought this was good for a 2001 mustang gt with k&n and flowmasters but where can i get some quick good hp and good mods that give me this hp and how i might make my time quicker my car is an automatic

I ran a 9.26 in a friends 2001 automatic. I know it has more he ran it and as soon as he got back I ran so the car was hot. If it could cool off I know I can go 9.10's to 9.15's @ least. I know guys who can't do that in Cobra's. Put an O/R H-Pipe, Cold Air Kit you might get 8's. Just my .02

Cold Air Kits are a waste of money, if you're looking for some extra easy power just get an Offroad H, Pullies and Timing Adjuster.
Power wise I don't have much more than that and I'm close to breaking 7's in the 1/8. That is a pretty good time. Let me ask you this. What was the weather conditions at the track, did you have your TC on, and how did you shift your car? I took my 01 GT to the track when it was bone stock and it ran a 9.4 @77-78 mph. The problem was that the south GA heat was killing my time a little bit.
What advantages will I see with a timing adjuster on my GT AOD? Thanks Guys |
