Flame job
Due to a little mishap, my car needed some repairs and the front end is getting painted. I am about to give the order to put pearl ghost flames on my Atlantic Blue 2000 GT. The shop where it is at has quoted me 10 hours ($680) plus paint to do the flames. This sounds like a good deal to me as I have heard that it takes at least 4 hours just to lay them out, but I have never had custom paint work done. Does anyone know what this should cost?
The flames will be under the clearcoat. I have the Saleen body kit and huge polished Torque Thrust II's, so I think it will look pretty sharp... What do you folks think? |
That should look awesome! Good luck with it.

Sounds like it is going to be a sweet looking car.
Definately owe us some pictures. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif Sounds like a great deal on the ghost flames too. |
I agree it will look great. I too am going with ghost flames; I am going black with a pearl blue flames.
As for the cost of the flames; I am having a friend paint mine and I will be helping lay out the flames but he said it would cost me about 500 for someone else to do it. That does not include painting it. ------------------ James Cox nochevy@hotmail.com 1991 Mustang LX |
