Hello guy's, I just registered on this site, mostly because "The Corral" is down, how do you guy's think this compares to "The Corral?"

Also what does a bone stock 4.6 Cobra run?

O.K. I'm biased, but I think Mustang Works Online compares very favorably with the Corral website. Check us out and you'll probably agree.

A stock 4.6 Mustang, on average, runs mid 14's.

Transmission, weight of the vehicle, state of tune and drive skill all play a part in the actual et on any specific Mustang. Some run high 13's.

I think this site is cool, the people are less critical, more friendly, and you offer more. i think I'm here to stay, and, since the Corral is crashed, I may not have a place to go back to.

I wanted to know what a bone stock 2001 Cobra runs in the 1320. My buddy just got one, says 13.25, I say 13.70's.

Thanks again.

A stock gt manual hardtop runs a low 14, and a select few well driven run high 13s. I'm not so sure about the cobra, I doubt that its as good as 13.2, but its better than 13.7. I would guess a mid/low 13. Remember that the 99+ are MUCH better than the 96-98s.

i have about 1500 posts here compared to 417 at the corral if that tells ya anything.. the corral has soooo many people, it's hard to keep threads open there! I like this one much better!

what name do you go by on the corral?

Welcome, BTW! :)

2FastLX 11-13-2001 11:05 AM

JL1314 - That's what I was going to say :D

What makes it even worse is I have another 1000 posts on this board with the old username I started with.

The Corral is a good site, but to me it's just too big. If you make a post it'll be buried under 500 other posts in a matter of minutes sometimes. This site is perfect.

Thank-you for the welcome, I go by gtsr515 also on the Corral, or should I say Crashal? LOL. Jupiter, Florida where is that? I live in Sebring, I listen to the Champ Cars test all winter from my house, omly a mile or so from the track. Will have to edit my profile.

If i could put a bone stock 93 in the 13,s, I would imagine a 99 would be a piece-o-cake. Maybe I'm wrong? My 93 LX 5sp. runs 12.92@104 with bone stock heads, cam and intake, I feel thats pretty good, what do you think?

My friend in Illinois, (look for Tim Lester on www.stangcrazy.com) has a 99 Cobra, without jumping to the site, I think it ran 13.71.

It's now at 13.15, with a few more mod's, he's going for mid - low 12's. Bob Cosby is his idol.

4.56's are next.

Thanks again.:D

Jupiter is northern Palm Beach County, just north of palm beach gardens... it's on the beach.

That sounds like an awesome cobra... Bob Cosby's got a good one there too.. very nice! :)
