Cold start problem ... 89 Mustang LX

my 1989 Mustang LX seems to have a problem starting on cold mornings (any time the temp drops below 35 degrees). Is this a known problem or is it just time for me to get the fuel injectors cleaned out? My other thought was that it may be a fuel pump starting to act up. This problem started last winter and the shop couldn't find the cause. Now that the weather here in Northern VA is getting cooler the problem has come back.

You need to give more info... what exactly is the problem with starting on cold mornings. I am not an expert but perhaps I can suggest a few things
1. When was the last time you had your fuel filter changed ... perhaps it's plugged.
2. Have you cleaned your battery terminals & does your battery need to be changed

Hope this helps

problem found ... clogged fuel injectors ...

turned out the problem was clogged fuel injectors ... ran some B44K through the system and the problem has disappeared ... have a buddy of mine that owns his own shop that suggested this solution and all indictions are that it's worked .... oh yeah - the fuel filter was replaced last year when the problem started and did nothing to help solve the startup problem ...
