fuel delivery

I recently purchased a fuel pressure regulator. I have 24lb injectors along with the stock fuel pump. The fuel pressure is set to 39psi with the vaccum line off. Is that a safe setting with all the mods I have. Should I invest in a 190 fuel pump or is the stock one still ok.

Injectors?

Yes, 39 is okay, stock is 39-42lbs. anyway. In a perfect world, you should have bought the 190 pump BEFORE the larger injectors, do you have a MAF meter calibrated for 24's now?

Put the 24's aside for now, and install them with a pump when you can afford a new one.

Good Luck! :D

Cobra's come with 24# injectors. What is the capacity of a stock fuel pump in a Cobra? I know it is higher than a GT's. I would guess that it's probably 120-155lph or at least capable of supporting the 24# injectors.

39psi is stock and you should have no problems unless you think you are starving for fuel at WOT. Do you have any reason to believe you are starving for fuel?

No the car runs strong and dosent fall on its face in any gear. The only thing I notice is the timing being pulled out when I shift gears. I need to invest in a tuner this winter. 94-95 computers are terrible. Thanks for the replys.
