how heavy are s/f connects?
How heavy are subframe connectors? Is the stiffness they offer the stang worth the extra weight? My car's handling feels loose and sloppy. I want it tight and accurate. What's the most affordable way to do this? I would like to lower my 90 gt an inch and a half or so. Good or bad idea? Any advice would make this easier. Thank you guys.

Given the relatively light weight of the sub-frame connectors, they are definately worth it. You would be adding maybe 15 lbs. to your Stang - which is not much at all. Plus they are a must when you start to approach higher power levels with drag or road racing.
My advice is get them. I have them and like them. E |
hook up!
they are worth EVERY PENNY DUDE! you will feel the difference just by driving it! they are not heavy at all. maybe 20lbs both sides. cheapest and easiest mod to do to a Stang! dont get the bolt in ones, they suck, make sure you get the weld in ones.

Worth every oz of weight they put into the car!
Rollcages, now thats gotta be debatable, but if you _need_ it, then its worth it. |
I know the full length Maximum Motorsports connecters that are on my convertible are pretty beefy. Well worth the wieght gain though. The car is SO much more rigid!
I would recommend the Maximum Motorsports ones if you don't mind paying extra for installaion. If you can weld, or have a buddy that can, then they are the way to go. |
