I PUT ON OLD RIMS AND TIRES SO THAT THE GOOD TIRES DON'T GET FLAT SPOTS. MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE A FULL TANK OF GAS, CHECK THE OIL, ETC. I MOVE MY CAR OUT OF THE GARAGE (ON GOOD DAYS ,OF COARSE)SO THAT THE BRAKES HAVE A CHANCE TO WORK AND I RUN IT FOR ABOUT 20-30 MINUTES SO THAT THE ENGINE IS HOT AND THE CONDENSATION IS BLOWN OUT OF THE EXHAUST SYSTEM(I REV IT UP A FEW TIMES TO HELP BLOW IT OUT OR MAYBE I JUST LIKE TO HERE THE FLOWMASTERS).I ALSO RUN ALL OF THE ACCESSORIES INCLUDING THE AIR CONDITIONER. THERE ARE A LOT OF OTHER WAYS TO STORE YOUR CAR, BUT I'V BEEN DOING THIS FOR 14 YEARS AND IT WORKS FOR ME. GOOD LUCK.

FORGOT TO ADD, I START MINE ABOUT EVERY 2 WEEKS.

3024V pretty much covered it all. Some things about actually storing it though....They make those little dolly things that you put underneath your tires so you can roll your car around in any direction by yourself. They work AWESOME and are very, very valuable to me with my projects. They save a ton of time and you can actually save a lot of room with them also by moving your car somewhere you wouldn't be able to drive it. Like crossways in the back of your garage. Another thing, try to keep it as clean as possible. And dry. Get a "California Car Duster" and keep all the dust and spider webs (if you have any in the winter there, we do here even with lows around 0 degrees) of the car. Try and make sure the car isn't leaking any oils/fluids either. It'll make a real mess out of your garage floor by sitting there all winter.

HeHe
I just mounted a set of Michelin Artic Alipins and am gonna do some snow plowing this winter. Im gonna stick 80 lbs or so of tube sand in the trunk when the snow actually flies. But then again, I paid $700 for this crate, and I grew up driving in snow. Plus now I gotta find a set of tires for the pony rims before spring  |
