Audi S4 Wants a Freeway Race!!!
 

This is not a joke. My buddy is buying an Audi S4. He claims he saw one stomp a Camaro SS. He knows he'll lose against me from a drag start, so he's challenging me to a freeway race. He says the S4s will run 180 mph with a chip and that the turbo will give him an advantage at speed. I don't think he's lying but I DO think whoever's telling him this sh** is blowing smoke.

I've driven an S4...they're fast, but not THAT fast. I don't think they'd beat an SS, and I definitely think my friend would lose to my LX.

What do you think?

A guy was recently telling me the S4 has 285 hp stock. I didnt believe that, but I didnt know myself.

He was also claiming with a bigger down pipe, chip, and something else he could get 440hp out of it. I told him he was stupid then, and he got all pissy.

Who knows, I dont see how a turbo 4 can produce much more than 250hp from the factory. For the price those sell for.

You should kick his *** easy.

actually the S4 is a 2.7L v6 with twin turbos and awd! I raced one with a chip, exhaust, bypass something or the other, and a shifter. it was pretty close everytime! he will get murdered by your car on the freeway because it wasn't until around 80+mph that i started realing him in! they launch really well though! the guy i raced would rev to about 5500rpm and drop the clutch! he has no chance on the freeway! most of the audi's with the above mods run between 13.0-13.7 depending on the driver. fyi.
