Ford Motorsport 'Z' transmission????
 

Is it any good? I have the opportunity to pick one up. This guy says its been rebuilt with new bearings, keys, seals, etc...and has 0 miles since the rebuild. i aprieciate the help, thanks in advance

A few questions you could ask: can the seller furnish an invoice from the shop that did the rebuild? Is this shop reputable? Why did it need a rebuild to begin with? How would you know it has zero miles on it? Why is it being sold?

If the seller can answer the questions and the price is reasonble, I'd say go for it.

I have the 'Z' tranny. I like it. Shifts real smooth compared to the stock T5 and it's supposed to handle more than any other T5 including the cobra (HD) T5. I forget the exact specs but if you call D&D they will know.
