panhard bar=better launch?????
 

I know that this devive control the leteral movement of the axle but does it put more down force on the axle during the launch? What do you guys think?

I think a PHB's purpose is more for cornering power than Straight line performance. A torque arm would provide a better lauch AND better cornering...especially if used with a PHB.

A panhard bar will help improve launching because when the axle moves laterally in the car (I have read that it can move almost 2" on a stock Stang just burning out in a straight line) it makes the car squirrely. 84 is right though - a torque arm along with the PHB would make a lot more difference.
