crank bolt
I have never turned an engine over by hand before. I am not tearing it all the way down, i.e. leaving balancer and pulley on...
Do I just put a socket on the crank bolt and turn clock-wise? thanks. |
I can lay under the car and turn the crank pully by hand. Its tough, not everyone can do it. Get a pair of gloves and try. Be shure to take the belt off. ratchet on the crank bolt will work too:)

where is Mr. P. Wud when you need him...
anybody....helloooooo....
|
i'm 95% sure its a 15/16ths , get a deep well 6side socket and a 3" extension and a 1/2" drive wrench and your set
it will be ALOT easier to turn over if you take your spark plugs out, if you still have your accessories on then leave your belt on, take the plugs out and turn the motor over by pulling on the belt. hope this helps |
thanks
