Hey I am kinda curious how this would respond to a blower. Does anybody have the specs on it. What I was thinken was taken one of those really wimpy 96-98 6 bangers and droping in a blown 24v taurus. Any thoughts would be appreciated, this was just one of those random thoughts sitting at a stoplight.

There are a few 3.0 Taurus' running around with superchargers that probably see 14's.

Probably more trouble than it's worth.

I saw a '89 SHO with a blower that dyno'd at around 370 HP. Heavily modified all around but had to be a 12-second car.

Anything is possible and if you thought of it, someone has probably already built it.

That would be interesting. With some gears and head porting as well as intake it would prob. move down the track at a pretty decent rate.

Neat idea...mmmm...if I can just convince the wife :D

Seriously, my wife and I recently purchased a new fully loaded 2001 Taurus SEL with the 3.0 24V DOHC engine and let me tell you - this thing moves! The 4V Cobra motor responds very well to boost, so I don't see why this 4V motor would be any different. The engine is smooth as silk as is.

It could work, but would probably be a good amount of $$$. If you have the extra cash laying around then go for it! :)
