That reminds me of this story I once heard. No idea if it's true, but it goes like this.

This one guy in NV, or NM stole a Jet engine from some military compound, basically strapped it to his Chebby Caprice and took it the desert to see how fast it was. They never found him, but they did find the car.....about half way up a canyon wall. The remains of the car was still burning, and they could only figure that he had taken the car above 140, got airborne and well, became part of the landscape.

Like I said, no idea if it's true, but the MR2 reminded me of that. Wanna take that MR2 out to the Salt bed??

Hey BWC,

Your refering to the Darwin award winner. Every year they give this award to the person who inflicted the most pain due to stupidity upon themselves. This guy was definately headed in that direction.
