Where to find parts for a Fairmont?

I recently aquired a 78 Fairmont Futura in hopes of making the ultimate sleeper. However seeing as how this car is older than I am, it needs some TLC. It needs mostly weatherstrip. I need the outer belt mouldings and the window channel weatherstrip. Does anybody know if these even exist in the aftermarket or know where I could get my hands on some good used peices? THANKS

Matt, I guess I set myself up for that one huh? It was a good one though. And the funny thing is that I got this car from an old lady. Its gonna make one sweet sleeper, if I could only find the weatherstripping then I can get the window to stop rattling. Well if your grandma decides to part hers out I want the weatherstripping. LOL

we can't make too much fun of them, they are fox bodies. My grandmother's has the straight six with really skinny tires, man when it rains you can whip that thing around curves - good clean fun (in someone else's car!!!)

this car is also a straight 6, soon to be a EFI 5.0, Im gonna keep the skinny tires for now, keeps up with the sleeper image.

Try Dearborn Classics. I believe thare's another outfit that specializes in rubber weather strip for almost all old cars. I just have to remember the name of the company. If I can come up with it, I'll e-mail you.
