Cam question

I'm having my engine rebuilt mostly stock w/a 3 angle valve job and Performer intake, and I want to put a really small cam in it just to make it rumble a little bit. What size and what kind would be good for slightly larger than stock on a mostly stock engine?

Try the Crane 2031.

I had the 2031 and it sucked, ran faster with the stocker.

Your best bet is the FMS "B" cam, it was designed for a carb and a 5-speed. I had this cam in for 2 years and loved it.

Good luck

E-303 or a B-303 are both good choices. There are many good choices. Just stick to something around .050 lift and 220 duration @ .050.
