Need help can't wait to drive car.

I just got my new springs on and RR adjusted car sounds great. One problem I switched to a BBK FPR from a holley and when the pump turns off pressure drops to zero fast. I do not smell gas and I can not find any leaks. I would think at 38 psi I would see gas somewhere? I call summit and they seem to think that it is OK the fuel is going to the return line. My holley would hold pressure for a day. Also what would be the point in the pump turning on if the system did not hold pressure? Thanks for the help guys I can not wait to see how this thing runs not that I have the valve train right.

If I remember correctly, last time I put a gauge on my FP using the stock FPR, the pressure dropped after I turn the key and hear the pump come on and off. I thing it just squirts some fuel in there to start the car, and then starts pulling some more once it's running. Does it start okay?

The car does have a small miss. It is heard to hear with the cam ,and when idleing you can smell gas.

The car cranks up fine ,but I have to give it gas for about two minutes before it will idle. Right after I put the motor in it started great for about 800 miles. I don't think it is problem with the valves because. The problem was there before the new springs. Could a leaking injector cause this problem, how do I test the injectors? Could I have a sensor out or a wasted computer?

Once I let the car idle for a couple for minutes and kill it. When I start it again it idle fines, but still has the miss. I'm lost.

test for a leaking injector by clamping the return hose when an assistant turns off the engine. If the pressure drops, it's one or more injectors.

Take care,

i had sort of the same prob in my old gt. it wouldnt idle worth **** when i got it, so i put in a new tps-throttle position sensor and that seemed to help a bit but it still was doing it. so i looked around in my engine and i saw that it was wet around one of my front injectors. when i finally was going to put a new one in and pulled the old one out - on the bottom on the cap was cracked in like 5 different spots. when i put in the new one it idled fine.
hope this helps you out.

I'm going to try and figure out my fuel pressure Tuesday. It should be in the upper 40's. I have not touched the car because of the holiday's and the fact the it has not been over 20 degree's in two weeks. I'm looking to buying new injectors in a couple of weeks. Like I said before the only thing I bought used were the injectors and MAS(cal 24#) everything else is new. I will let you guys know when I find something. Thanks for the help.
