Driveablity problems??
I took the stang for a ride today and it still has a hesitation. It seems like a miss and backfired through the intake a couple of times. I did not get on it, just driving normal nothing over 3000.
Any ideas would be a big help. Also what is the proper way to reset the computer. I just connect the battery after couple of days being off. I let it idle for about five minutes. Then restarted and drove. I remember see a post about turning on accessories and then off or something like that. Could this be the problem or do I need a custom chip? I have a couple of posts as to what I have been doing for the last week if you need more info. Couls a stuck injector cause these problems? |
It could be any # of things, computer related, Vacuum leak, weak fuel pump, lean condition from the o2s, I would check your fuel pressure and see if all your vacuum connections are on. You might need a chip for your mods, but let someone else whos run your cam tell you about that, i'm unsure. Me and my bro both have injected stangs, mine an 87, and his is in his 67 mustang on his 289, all i know he had backfiring and a chip seemed to help, mines stock so i could ask him about your problem, I live in O'Fallon so ur not far. Good luck, Justin
