z spec T5

Will the T5-"Z" bolt up to my bellhousing? I have read that it will, and will not. Also, I heard that there is a "Z" rebuild kit for the standard T5. Is there a Ford Motorsport part number for this kit. If I buy a new Z spec T-5 what else would I need for the install. Thanks

I don't know the anwsers to all your questions, but I can steer you to who would know: D&D Performance or is it D&D Transmissions? I forget, anyways, they are located in Michigan and can be found in 5.0 or MM&FF advertisements.

They specialize in transmissions, so they would definately be able to anwser your questions.

Hope this helps.

I put in a new Z spec tranny in my car last summer and everything just bots in where the stock one was, it is supposed to have a beefier set of gears and a taller 1st and 5th
