Music Quiz
The favorite song thread prompted me to see how good you guys really are. This is actually pretty easy, and if you don't figure them out, you'll slap yourself when someone else does. Can anyone list, in no particular order, the three most requested songs of all time, in rock radio (Rock radio format includes rock, rock and roll, album rock, classic rock, etc.)?
|
freebird, stairway to heaven, the wall,bwhahaha im so sick of hearing all three i could scream:rolleyes:-welcome home my wayward son :D

I knew this was too easy. You've got two of the three.
HEY MARTY, DOES THIS MAKE YOUR HANGOVER FEEL ANY BETTER????? Take care, -Chris |

Not really sure, but this have all been played to death. I'm pretty sure the "Twist and Shout" is the most requested classic rock song. |

I was gonna say Freebird(a given to a southern boy:)), Back in Black or You shook me all night long, and Tom Sawyer. Seeing as Marty got 2 right I'm gonna say Stairway to Heaven makes perfect sense.

Ok we know the first two are Freebird and Stairway to Heaven. I'm sorry, I've been playing with my iPod. You got it Marty;
Freebird Stairway to Heaven Hotel California I used to date a dj from KTYD in Santa Barbara, and learned more than I wanted to about radio. There is no longer any such thing as requests. Hasn't been for years. Oh, if you call up and request a song that happens to come across the playlist, you might hear your name mentioned, but it was a predetermined song. Have you ever wondered how it is a bands first release from an album goes to #1 before it's even played? Hehehe, it's actually kind of funny, it a sad way. 6 months before the scheduled air release of all albums, they are sent out to a few hundred "pre-screeners" whose only job is to decide their three favorite songs. They tally up the results, and the most popular song is released first, followed by the other two at 4 to 6 month intervals. Take care, -Chris |
c'mon pkrwud...give us some threads to think about..we all know you have pages to draw from..you made them at your mom's for christmas..tell me i'm wrong..hehe:D
