GT to LX 5.0 rear bumper swap
 

i have a 93 convertible GT and I was wondering if it is possible to swap out the rear bumper/bumper cover and replace the tailpipes with those (bumper and tailpipes) of an LX 5.0? Also, if anyone's done it, does it look really out of place or does it add some character to the car? Opinions are welcome... thanks in advance.

It is not an LX bumper cover but have you considered a Cobra piece. They allow the LX tail pipes to show and look sweet on a GT. Just one opinion.

I agree, it would look really out of place, but i have seen cobra rear bumpers on gt's and they look good and allow you to have big pipes out the back....

'93 Gt, Stock as a rock, but plan an AOD to T-5 swap, steeda tri-ax shifter, 3.55's, cobra intake, gt-40 irons, e303 cam, 1.6 rr's, mac headers, off road h-pipe, flowmasters cat back, msd ignition, blaster coil, mac cold air box (fenderwell), eibach springs, silver cobra r's, and an obnoxiously large mustang in the back window =0)
