Clutch noise

Hi, my 88GT is making a whinning sound when the clutch is pushed in. Does this mean the throwout bearing is bad? The car has 122,000 trouble free miles(knock on wood)on it..

What would be a good choice for a replacment clutch? The car is relativly stock and sees track duty only once or twice a year, just for fun... Thanks for the help!!!! happy New Year!!

If this is a daily driver I would just put a stock replacement in it. I would say it's about time to. 120,000 out of hte stock clutch aint bad at all. I would put in a new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearing, be sure to grease the shaft the bearing rides on real good though.
