Shaved heads - Shimming required?
I am installing some ported stock ET7E's on my 5.0 which have been shaved .030. I just ordered some Omega 1.6 roller rockers as well and a set of springs to go with my Trick Flow Stage 1 cam.
My question is, do I need to shim the rockers since the heads have been shaved? If so, where do I get the shims? Also, is there anything else I need to do other than check my piston to valve clearance that I may be unaware of? Thanks. ------------------ Indiana Stangers Association Buy your parts here |

I just found out they are adjustable. And supposedly, they are the only adjustable pedestal mount rockers made. I guess I got lucky =)
Now, how do you adjust them? They are used so they won't be coming with instructions. Thanks. ------------------ Indiana Stangers Association Buy your parts here |
Comp cams. makes adjustable pedestal mount rockers as well. Adjustment is self explanatory, youll see it once you have the rockers in front of you.

I can probably figure out "where" you adjust them, but how do you adjust them for the setup? I mean, how do I know how much to tighten them down?
