Explorer intake

I am thinking of getting an explore intake for my 94 gt, but have heard good and bad about them. Does anyone have any experiences with them? Is it a direct bolt in?

You'll have to do a little modification to get it in there, but it's relatively easy to install.

The Explorer intake will give you power pretty close to what you'll get from a Cobra intake, and good low end power as well.

yup, you'll have to drill and tap a hole for the air charge temp sensor i believe. It's the fitting in your #1 runner.

You'll also have to buy that overpriced intake elbow for the SN95.

I'm very happy with mine. I found it for $150 with it already drilled and tapped :)

The only thing i dont like about it is that it looks ugly and too much like the stock one. I'm trying to find a used GT40 or Cobra upper in good shape to replace the upper.

Go for it, its well worth the money. Its an awesome budget N/A intake.
