Ricer gets busted...

As entertainment on our breaks at work, we look out our 5th story window at the goings on at the major intersection about a 1/4 mile away. It's the intersection between a major road and a tollway, so there's los of fender benders, some major accidents, and LOTS of police action going on all the time down there.

Well today at about 4:30 as we start to wind up the day, we're all just talking watching this Dallas cop absolutely vulture over this intersection. I see this dropped, stickered black Civic coming up really fast to the intersection as it is about to go yellow. I say: "How much you guys wanna bet he blows through the red?"

We all chuckle at the comment as, sure enough, he blows RIGHT through the yellow\red at about 60 mph right in front of the cop!!

The cop turns and speeds up to follow the import and turns on his lights.... By this time we're all dying up in the office laughing our heads off...:p

Somehow I get the feeling that's not how "The Fast and the Furious" ends...

Entertainment at its finest...

HAHA too bad for him. I had a similar incident, except it was a high school dude and his girlfriend in a nice new 4X4 4 Runner or something. The g/f was driving and the dude was laid back in the shotgun seat. They were coming up fast. As we passed under an overpass I looked left and saw Mr. Officer on his way down. I looked over at the 4X4 which was now beside me. I casually smiled at him as they zoomed by doing probably 50. I was doing 40 and the limit is 35. The cop zipped in behind them and they didnt even slow down. Needless to say, the blue lights came on appx 2 miles ahead.
Oh well, daddy probably handled that ticket for her.

That is one law I have no problems with cops enforcing. People blowing stop signs and lights.

yeah what unit said :D

I agree with the Unit too

Back in '98 I had a brand new Cavalier z-24 (easy guys..... this was just a form of transportation, the Stang still got the spot in the garage). Anyway I had less than 3,000 miles on it when I got broad-sided by a drunk-driver who blew through a light that had been red for about 5 seconds. Dude was driving a 4-door GMC duelly truck. Needless to say, I'm lucky to be alive. The z-24 was almost split in half.

Dude, that is way to funny. Well it is also nothing to laugh at too. Dam ricers running red lights!

Oh well after paying that ticket he'll have to wait until next month's allowance to buy his aluminum or chrome window switch or heater control knob!

Here in North Carolina, they have these new Red Light Photo Cameras. My cousin came up for the weekend and borrowed grandmas Olds. He blew through a red light and three days later, a $50 ticket arrived in grandmas mailbox. The ticket shows the light "red" with the front bumper of the car behind the white line, a close up photo of the license plate, and a photo of the car under the red light. The ticket also has the cars MPH. No points on his record if the ticket is paid. Grandma is responsible for the ticket unless she gives up the person driving the car AND they accept responsibility.

Be careful, Big Brother is Watching!

Yeah, the ticket will probably cause him to drop from the oversized wing down to chrome curb feelers and windshield wipers this month. HAHAHAHAH
