What i need to run a 150 shot of Nos
 
I am going to be rebuilding my engine soon and i want to be able to run a 150 shot of NOS.Should i go with forged parts?what parts should i go with and buy what brand?This will be an eveyday driver. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

forged pistons are recommended, but not required.

I would suggest a high capacity ignition system, like the MSD, and make sure your fuel pump can handle the additional load, especially if running a dry system.

Go with forged pistons and rods and a main girdle. You'll love the 150 hp shot and want to go larger, but "stock parts" will break. Also make sure your tune up is dead on.

Ok im going to buy forged pistons and rods while im at it shoul i buy a forged crank or will it not matter?What brands do you guys recommened?THANKS ALOT FOR THE HELP GUYS

The main thing, is a good ignition and fuel system, good tuning, and definitely forged pistons. I've been running a 125 on a stock bottom end that was prepped without any problems. To be honest tho, don't get greedy with the nitrous, or timing, or it won't matter what parts you have.

A completely stock motor will handle a 150 shot just fine as long as it is in good tune.

A good fuel pump is recommended. I still run a stock ignition system and I am making approx. 500 crank hp.
