oil coming from exhaust?
 
my sister bought a 91 t-bird 5.0L last year and now it is spraying light amounts of oil out of the exhaust and when she went to fill the oil up she took of the filler cap and there was smoke coming from inside.Does anyone know what is wrong, can someone help me please[i think the engine might have to rebuilt]:confused:

This is in the wrong forum, but the problem looks like blow-by.

Worn piston rings allow oil to burn, and a loss of compression right into the crankcase. That is the oily smoke from the oil filler.

My Nissan has the same problem with it's Z24 engine.....but that's pry expected with 185,000 ticks on her....and running with about 1 quart of oil 2 different times for 2 or 3 days each time.:rolleyes: :( :eek:
