The Toyota Echo is an abortion on wheels, and the Avalanche is close. I personally think the new Jeep Liberty is their ugliest entry into the market in years, but I believe they are considered 2002 models. BTW, ALL of the Liberties have been recalled. I also think the '01 Monte Carlo is extremely ugly, as are the '01 Nissan trucks. I'll think of others.
Take care, -Chris |

#1. Dodge Neon:
My wife just traded hers in on a Focus and man am I glad. After 35,400 miles the Neon developed a loud knock. Thank God she didn't get another 600 miles on it before we heard it! 40,000 miles later and the same problem came back. It was the biggest pile of worthless scrap metal and plastic I have ever seen (next to the 89 Slomaro I bought new and sold 3 months later). Note to self: Keep wife away from Dodge and Chevy dealerships. #2. Let's give the Aztech another go 'round. It has to be right up there with the old "Le Car's" #3. Is the Avalanche that new Chevy truck that looks like somebody's bad attempt at making a futuristic vehicle for a Sci-Fi flick? If so I gotta say - damn, that's UGLY!!! |
1. Chevy Avalanche
2. Jeep Liberty (although, along with PKRWUD, what year is it?) 3. Pontiac Aztech 4. Honda Insight 5. Toyota Rav-4 |
How about the Toyota Prius? I'm not sure what year it is either!
Daewoos are pretty bad. especially the Lanos..trying to look like a cheap knockoff of the Honda Civic hatchbacks. I also think its funny (being a former service employee and knowing the poor history) watching Hyundai try to make their cars seem more upscale. I know their reliability has improved tenfold since their first appearance in this country, but lets get real  |
Thanks guys I think that is all the nominations I need.

I didnt like Hyundai at all until my parents bought a 1999 Sonata V-6. It was nice and it has been through hell and back and has only had minor problems, and one recall. I have to say I am impressed with Hyundai. The new 2002 Sonatas are nothing to laugh about. They have a more elegant sytling which reminds me of a Jag and Lexus and alot of car critics compares the car to the Infiniti and Toyota. For the luxury of a Jag or Lex you can have a nice well equipped Sonata GLS V-6 for under $22,000. Although I have to say the Tibouron needs more power and the XG350 needs a make over.
My parents car has 46,xxx miles on it and it still gets up and goes. It gets great gas milege and is a comfortable ride. Hyundai wasnt always a good brand bet they have come around and I reccomend the 02 sonata to anyone that wants to look like they have money but dont. |
