AHHHH my car wont idle help
I have a 91GT stock short block and almost every thing else except F303 cam off road H pipe(with stock headers)pullys roller rockers and high lift valve springs. My car will surge up and down, up to about 1500 and down to about 500(especially when cold)and now the problem has progressed to the point where it dies if i dont keep my foot on the gas(very annoying since its a five speed)I havent really tried anything thought i would get some advice before waisting time and money.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Surging is generally related to a fuel mixture (lean typically) problem.
I'd check your TPS/idle setting & that should eliminate it. If you can verify your fuel pressure might wanna check that to. How old is your Fuel Filter. |
Clean the IAC and check the TPS. Also make sure the mass air meter is plugged in all the way. Sometimes the plug doesn't snap and it vibrates back out.

Just for sh*ts and giggles why don't you unhook the PCV hose from your valve cover to your throttle body. I did that and it ran sweet even if I capped them both off. I know you shouldn't do this, but if it helps it may narrow it down to a PCV/MAF problem.
