mass air mistake
I have made a mistake on my mass air meter. I removed the center post in the mistaken belief that more flow through it would make more horse power. This is not a restriction in the induction system. My question is to get back to the correct air fuel ratio, what size do I need to bore the sampling tube? Does anyone have information on this. Please no guessing.

Give us some more info. What year is your car? What model?
Instead of messing with your stock maf anymore, I would suggest just buying a new one. I felt a good gain from my C&L MAF. |
Sorry bout that though it cam up automatically.
I have a 96 Cobra with a K Belle blower @ 6PSI. Big radiator. X pipe, boost a pump and spark. And I live in AZ where it gets. hot and the gas is 91 octane |
Your best bet is to either buy a new meter (stock or aftermarket) or send the meter to Pro-M to have it recalibrated. You can mess with the sampling tube but it would be a pain to figure out the right amount to drill out.

For blown applications such as yours, your best bet would be a Pro-M MAF calibrated for your specific setup. It will help with the performance of the vehicle and help alleviate any drvability issues you may have.
