Kenne Bell 2200 Questions
Could I run the 2200 on a stock motor, with the boost set at the lowest amount without hurting the blower?
I want to push 400rwhp one day, and would like to use the Kenne Bell 2200 blower, but i want to purchase the blower, use it on the (almost) stock motor and add stuff to it later. Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks |
Yes. Most base super charger kits are designed for stock motors. They come with the upgrades you need which are usualy a new intake pump, or an inline booster, and an FMU. Get a larger MAF, larger injectors, a fuel preasure reg, and an ignition and you can run more boost than the base kit comes with. You might want to get a new in-tank pump if it does not come with one. Exhaust and a larger t-body would be good to, but not necessary. Down the road you might want a chip too. Later

well, the 2200 is the bigger blower, the base is the 1500. would it still work though?
