KYB's vs. Edelbrock IAS

I'm planning on restoring/upgrading my shocks and front end suspension in about 2 weeks. What is the better shock, Edelbrock IAS shocks, or the KYB's. I think I've heard that the KYB's are adjustable shocks, but I'm not sure, and if they are, what advantage would there be in that? I'm also lowering the front by about 1" with new coil springs, any advice on this project would be great!

Thanks,

I put KYB's on my 65 fastback today and they are great , much much better ride and good quality shocks. They are not adjustable they adjust automaticaly to road conditions . Beleave it or not they work nice soft ride until you need it. The name of the shock is misleading gas-a-just. I got mine for $120.00 at a local mustang shop. The 620 1" lowering front springs are good way to go that is my next step.

Go with the KYB's the best for less. Those Edelbrock's are way too expensive $70 apiece

I also would look at the Eibach progressive rate springs.

Eibach?

Well, if money wasn't an issue (it is, but I want to put the best parts I can, so might as well do it the first time), which of the two would have the best ride?

Also, I've tried looking into Eibach springs for my stang, but haven't found any. Do you know if those progressive springs are availabe for '65 Coupes?

I'd go with the KYBs for the difference in price. But $120 is expensive for gas-a-justs. Summit has them for $23.95 each.
