Gaskets/sealants...???????????????

I am about to begin re-assembly of my new motor combo (new TFS TW heads and TFS cam...). Going to need all new "liquids", as its been a looooong time since last motor rebuild, and putting together a shopping list right now.

What are the sealers, glues, threadlocks, gaskets... that you guys use?
* Head gaskets -ROL HT part#???
* Intake gaskets -Felpro part#???
* Exhaust gaskets -Felpro part#???

-ARP moly lube
-RTV black
-Permatex #3D or #3H threadlocker
-Liquid Teflon ?
-What to use for head bolts? threadlocker/threadsealer

Using ARP bolts for heads/intake, SS bolts for headers...

Don't chinse on the head bolts. ARP all the way.

Fel-pro 1415's are the exaust gaskets that I use.

I used threadsealer on the head bolts.

Black RTV around the water passages on the heads to intake. and on the ends of the intake

brain fart on the rest:confused:

ARP's Threadsealer is the best there is, IMHO, and should be used on all head bolts, as well as timing cover/water pump bolts. I also use anti-seize on anything that threads into aluminum. depending on which gaskets you use, I would also recommend copper gasket spray for the head/block mating surface. RTV for the intake end seals. I don't use threadlocker very often, but when I do, I either use Loctite 271 (red) or 242 (blue). ARP assembly lube everywhere, but don't forget to change the oil & filter within a couple hours of operation. Vasoline in the oil pump. Straight water in the cooling system for the first 100 miles, then flush and fill 20% coolant, 80% water.

Take care,
-Chris
