TFTW heads max safe RPM?
 

Does anyone know what the max safe RPM is for the TFTW heads valve springs? I usually shift at 5500-6000 at the track.

Sometimes due to poor track prep, the RPM's get away from me off the line running up to 6500 or so. This of course ruins the et, but does it hurt the valve springs on these heads? Any info appreciated.

Ths TW's have pretty strong valve springs.....you shouldn't worry about what tolerances they have because their power band peaks at about 6000. If you do any mods to extendthe power (porting, more lift) you should upgrade the springs....JMO
