Wow. Just realized I hit 3000.
 

I guess this confirms the fact that my life revolves around two things: Sprint car racing and Mustang Works. In a couple days, I will have been registered here for 3 years, and I just hit 3000 posts. The scary part is that I didn't come here more than a dozen times for a 17 month period in the middle of those 3 years.

Thank God for DSL.

Yeah, I can agree with posts going in streaks. During the time I've been on Mustangworks there were a couple 1month + periods I didn't post because I had no internet access.

I have had DSL through my phone company for over two years, and love it. I get billed with my phone bill.

My phone bill get's an extra $79.98 tacked on every other month ($39.99 per month). It's supposed to go up to $49.99 a month at somepoint, but it hasn't happened yet. Still, that's my total online cost. They are my ISP, and I just use IE for a browser and OS X Mail for my email (my primary email account is with the phone company, but I also have one through Mac.com), although Outlook Express would work, too.

Congrats on hitting 3k! That's alot of time, I'm around 640 and I havn't been registered that long, I wonder how I hit that many. How much time I must spend on this site, and I was gone for 2 weeks. And I agree with you Pkrwud, I need to find a girl that is into cars and racing too. =) My last g/f isn't a fan of cars and doesn't like going fast. There arn't many girls that are into stangs, especially my age (17). All I know is one girl that is getting a 5.0L, her dad has a '69 Cougar with a 428 in it. But she is nothing more then a friend. All the girls my age just see a shiny bright coloured car and they assume it's an amazing car.

Like Chris, I also have DSL through my local phone company. I love it.

Same cost: about $40. per month; same as I paid when I had a separate phone line and an ISP with a slow 56k modem connection.

I don't keep track of the speeds like Chris does but it's way fast and always 'on'. No hassles.

I gotta recommend DSL based on my own positive experience.

It will take me a while to get there. Since I was offline for over a month, I lost valuble posting time. Oh well.
