FRPP or Eibach drag springs?
I am trying to decide which ones to put on my car. Anyone run either of them and have opinions on them? Is there any reason other than price to buy one set over the other? Thanks

I run the Eibach kit and it works great in conjunction with my 70/30's and 50/50's. My dad really liked the ride of his Cobra so instead of adding the springs we just added the HAL adj. struts, and shocks and are keeping his stock springs. The stock Cobra springs are much better then the stock GT springs but they do no not hold the front energy that the Eibach springs do. If your set on swapping springs go with the Eibach, I feel you can't go wrong http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif

LOL, they're the same spring. I talked to a guy from Eibach, and he told me they make the drag spring kit for FRPP. They also make all the FRPP lowering springs. Just a different package. Buy whichever is the best deal.

Hey moxie,
thanks for that info. I've been trying to decide which springs to get myself, but that makes it MUCH easier to decide which one to get. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif ------------------ '84 Mustang 5.0 T5, FMS aluminum radiator & 180* thermostat, 1 5/8 shortys/2.5" duals, '88 GT tail lights and wheels, Holley 4160 4 BBL, smog pump idler, more coming soon |
