Footage of Grebek crash
Here is a link to the crash on sunday afternoon which claimed the life of Steve Grebek. I thought it would answer some of the basic questions on what exactly happened. This was truly a giant loss to the mustang communtity and drag racing in general.

WTF is with that player software and charging after 14 days? Guess we couldn't have used media player or anything.........
|
i thought it was the media player one?
i'll get it on media player. There were a bunch of links and for different players and i guess i copied the wrong one. Sorry |
Yeh, that video quality was pretty bad, I couldn't see much of anything in it. It feels like it touches home when they say he was driving a Mustang. I don't know what it is, but just seems like reality that it can happen to you.
Take Care, §am. |
the video quality really bad on this video, And the news station banner along the bottom needed to be removed, cause you really can't see alot.
But, it is making me rethink if I want to get out in my new racecar. I know that there is a risk even walking out the door of your home. Kinda scary..the first event of the year. :( My prayers are out to both families...how sad |

it's just like the earhardt crash... I've seen worse where the driver walked away..... the way I see it... if iy's your time.. then there's nothing you can do about it.... so you might as well have fun ;-)
the driver walked away from THIS camaro... |
At the Rockingham Drag strip, I think at the Hot Rod Power Fest, I cant remember, I saw a very similar accident involving a Dodge, and a 3rd Gen bodied Camaro. There were going about 150 when they collided. It was a horrific wreck, and the Dodge got air borne and rolled several times. But both Drivers got out and walked away.
I think Dark Knight is right, when its your time, theres nothing that can stop it. |
footage was a little fuzzy but you still can imagine the impact that was horrific. R.I.P steve
