how much compression does my motor have?

An old buddy of mine built my engine and he said I have 10:5:1 for compression but he wasn't sure. As you should see in my sig my stock heads are milled .030 and I am using the stock pistons. What's my compression at?

If the only change made was to shave .030" from the stock heads, then your real compression ratio is approximately 9.3:1, depending on the head. It could be as high as 9.5:1, but 9.3:1 is more likely.

Take care,
-Chris
