After market sunroofs
 

any of you all have a after market sunroof in a 99 or 2002? I want a power or crank back I hate the pop ups and those that come out and over *forget the name of them* any one have photos you can show me? would it look good?

I have an aftermarket sunroof in a Jeep Cherokee. Its electric, self contained, and glass - its not bad; its buttons are between the windshield and sunroof. The only drawback is after being in for a few years the headliner began to pull out a bit....

desert rose my advice is dont get a sun roof,my f-150 has a factory sunroof & it leak's ,i had an aftermarket sunroof in an olds & it really leaked,just my .02:)

Yeah I was afraid of leaking untill we got a blazer and it had one in it, it hasnt leaked *yet* :D but knowing our luck....I'm just wondering if one can be put in a mustang in the year I want. I have only seen one with a after market, and it was one of those little pop ups I hate so bad:D

Rose, aftermarket sunroofs look ugly, dont fit as nice as OEM, people who usually put them in screw up your headliner. i have an OEM one on my 90. i dont like it. it really doesnt do much. its a pop-up design. if you do decide to get one, see if you can get one that is power and slides back. remember, you get what you pay for! good luck...:rolleyes:

Yeah I'll be saving up 1500 bucks I figuire that should get me a good one, I want a power or a crank back. Those pop ups,I mean what Is there use really? Cant get no air! We have the vent setting on our sunroof,it doesnt really do much. I want the power that slides back or the crank back kind. I dont like the ones that slide out and back either.I think those crank backs are in the Eddie bauer explorers? i want one of those too :D always been a Ford family,well,maybe owned some other kinda car\truck a FEW times my dad has had a ford truck since I was born!
