Me vs. 2002 RSX type S
 

I got into one hell of a race tonite. This kid i know just got a new 2002 RSX type S 6 speed maunual and we went to race. We pull up to the spot after we checked for cops and we linned up to go at it and a friend checked us and then dropped his hands we both gun it i beat him off the line and we were going under this bypass as he chirped it into 2nd. The road we were on narrowed down to one lane so thats what we were racing to, it wasnt really deffined but i figured thats what we were doing. Both of us were neck and neck then with about 200 yards before the road merges he starts to pull on my. And he just gets right in front of me before the merger. it was one hell of a race. i give him lots of respect its a sweet car, ice blue!!!!!! Gotta respect whats faster then ya.

Don't those run like 15's in the quarter?

Please tell me your stang is bone stock, with an automatic... Those RSX's run low 15's!!!

What those cars run?

Im sure a good driver could get mid 14's outta those.

stoplightwarrior- you hit it right on the nose i do have a bone stock 5.0 with an automatic running against a bone stock RSX with a 6 speed. He said it runs 15 flat in the quarter and thats what i ran at the track. I knew it was gonna be close i think if we just went a quarter mile i would have beaten him but top end he beat me.

yeah it was the first real close race i've had in a while. And saftey is always most important. later guys
