I need a stang!!
I no longer have the mustang that is down in my signature(I should take that off). I actually haven't had it for awhile. I sold it about a year and a half ago because I was planning on going back to school. Well, I'm still not in school and am kicking myself in the butt for not keeping it. It had a brand new paint job, a set of thousand dollar Cragar rims and everything listed below. It was all payed for too!! Why I couldnt have just parked it along my parents garage or something....geez!! I've got a 95 SHO right now, which just isnt cutting it. Spring time is rolling up soon, although from the snow we just got you'd think differently, and I am jonzing hard for another mustang. I've been searching every classified paper, calling dealerships, looking on internet, etc...Nothing as of yet. I think I'll have to wait a little later in the year up here(WI). People have their cars put away right now. I think it makes it worse coming on here:) Everyone's talking about their stangs and all I can do is dream right now. Well, I guess it will be worth the wait. I just felt like I had to complain to someone. I hope you guys understand:D
P.S...anyone ever had problems with the bank giving out 6-7 grand for a 89-93 5.0? |
man too bad you are up north ,i know where a early 80's stang is that is fantastic, i found it after i bought my 00gt,this car is the sh-- 351 police intercepeter engine, i stare at it every night when i drive home,oh it's nice i would almost trade my 00 for it ,but i still gotta pay for it,oh well that's the way it goe's:rolleyes: :D

I actually got my stang while i'm in school. even though i'm broke and have no time, i still manage to fit the stang into the loop. I wouldn't hve it any other way! If you have good credit and good rep with the bank you're getting the loan from you might be able to get something. banks often go with blue book values.
Good Luck!! |

Most banks will only loan you about 70% of the retail value of the car you want to buy; i.e. a 1992 Mustang GT going for $6,500. may only get you a loan of $4500. You're expected to put up the rest. Sometimes a personal loan is better - if you can get it - which would depend on your credit. |
read brie32z's thread now there is a real stang for sale,he has that much in the engine if i had the money i would be driving to GA. today.:D

Brie32z's car sounds like it is one bad mofo. I think I want to start out with something a little cheaper and with alot less mod's done to it. I am still in the learning process and I dont know how difficult that car would be for me to keep tuned, etc. I bet it would be fun as hell to drive, but I'd probably kill myself with that much h.p. :) Thanks for the post though.
