GT-40P heads and intake question

Hi everyone, Ive been looking into getting the Gt-40 P heads and want to hear some peoples experiences with them. What cam and intakes have u had luck with, and which to stay away from. For the bang for the buck, i've found these to be quite a deal, but I just want to hear your experiences, bty, what kind of power were these heads making on the mountaineers, explorers etc? I dont think i've ever seen an actual # given. Thanks for the info

You can see my combo in my sig....

I have the P heads and I really like them, but don't fool yourself into thinking they are the best heads on the market. Bang for the buck they are very effective. I had a little port work done to clean them up and I'm making 295-300 HP on the motor.

You will need to use GT-40p specific headers because the of spark-plug angle being reconfigured for better combustion. Mac and FMS make these headers. MAC are considerably cheaper.

Any of the popular aftermarket intakes will be effective with these heads.
