Hot and bothered!!
Need a little help from you guys about my water temp sensor. I pulled off the tube for the water that goes from the pump to the heater core and put the sensor as close to the thermostat housing with some stainless tubing but the wires are'nt long enough. The sensors still about six inches from the housing and the temp reading is way off which, i think, is creating some confusion for the computer and me. How can I get the sensor back on the housing? Does anybody make a extended wire loom for it or what? Thanks.....

It's just two wires. It would be a simple job to splice a foot of wire into the harness. You can do it! :)

No kiddin. Duh
I wasnt sure if it would change the reading/impedance and screw up the temp. "Some things dont take to kindly to wire cutters in here". If it wont unsettle the computer then ill wack away.

As far as the wiring goes, as long as you do a clean job, there's no problem. Take care, -Chris |
