Japans finnest on the bottle

I took my car down to florida to meet up with Ezridn. Well we meet up hit the NMRA event, then headed down to west palm for some fun. When we left the track on Wed night (morosso) we ran into a NSX (which we new had the bottle) and a S2000 (which also had the bottle) along with a Audi TT (boosting bad) and a syclone (which did not want to race).

The first race against the NSX is from like a second gear roll and I pull him pretty bad, then we jump on the interstate and rom from a freeway roll this time he sprays on me and pulls a couple cars (he trapped 115 earlier in the day).

Next a S2000 pulls along side me (saw him on the bottle trap 105) we run from a early 3rd gear roll, I pull him pretty bad several cars by the top of 4th.

Than the Audi TT (I thank he trapped 99) went from a low 3rd gear roll by the top of third I had SEVERAL cars it was a waste of gas but he wanted to go so what the hell.

All in all it was just like out of the fast and furious I was surrounded by imports! 3-1 not to bad considering they were spraying!

A S2000 on the bottle only trapped 105? What do they trap stock? Like 97? Was he only spraying a 75 shot? Good kills!

S2000's run 14.3-14.7's ET. I don't think thats near 97mph. Correct me if i'm wrong.............

My car trapped 99mph running 14.3 stock. Considering the S2000 is all top end, 97 sounds reasonable.

yeah them tbhings rev to like 9500 rpm or something. that's nuts in a car if you ask me. 242 hp, rear drive. not a bad car, except that it sucks rice.

lets hope not! then we won't be able to beat them.

rev limiter kicks in at 9100 in the S2000. pretty wicked if you ask me. of course, they also have very little torque at lower rpms. this wouldn't be such a big deal on a road course where you can keep the revs high (which is really where the S2000 belongs) but in a drag race the lack of torque coupled with the relatively high gearing makes for bad times.
